Books by Mark Frutkin

Mark Frutkin lives in Ottawa (Elmvale Acres) and has published nineteen books of fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. His novel, Fabrizio’s Return (Knopf), won the Trillium Award for best book in Ontario and was nominated for the Commonwealth Prize (Canada/Caribbean). His most recent book is The Walled Garden (Guernica), a collection of short essays. His nonfiction book, Erratic North, A Draft Resister’s Life in the Canadian Bush, chronicles the ten years he lived on a farm near Wolf Lake, Quebec, in a log cabin with no electricity or running water. He has taught creative writing at Carleton and Ottawa U.
